New to Neo Babylon? Start here.
Welcome to the Neo Babylon Survival Guide — a fan-run field guide to the world of Subversion, the tabletop roleplaying game from Fragging Unicorn Games. If you just landed here from a video, a post, or a friend’s link and you’re wondering what any of this is, you’re in the right place. This page is the front door.
What is Subversion?
Subversion is a tabletop RPG set in Neo Babylon — a gleaming megacity of towers, corporations, and government control, with a whole other world underneath it: the undercity. Down below, people live, work, scheme, and survive outside the official story. The Lawjacks patrol for the powers above; the corporations buy what they can’t control; and the people of the undercity get on with it anyway. The game is about those people — and so is this site.
What you’ll find here
Everything on the Guide is organized into sections — here are the doors in:
- World Guide — The places and faces of Neo Babylon: locations, non-player characters, and the details that make the city real at your table.
- Stories & Fan Fiction — Tales from the undercity. Start with ‘The Death of Lawmaster Finn’ and see how fast Neo Babylon chews people up.
- GM Resources — Notes and tools for the person running the game.
- Downloads — Fan-made missions and material for Subversion, free to take to your table.
- Barney — The Purple Dino — Barney is an orc bartender with long purple hair, pouring drinks at the dive bar The Purple Dino. He has seen everything, and he has a quote for most of it. New roundup every Friday.
- Oni’s Survival Tips — Oni is a dark elf who moves through the undercity’s alleys in black, pistol on his hip. Every week, his survival tips get collected here. New roundup every Thursday.
- Pirate TV — Neo Babylon News, the pirate broadcast. Watch every episode of A Day in the Life: Stories from Neo Babylon, embedded in order.
- Music & Media — Songs and sounds from the undercity, plus unboxings and other media.
Who runs this place?
The Guide is run by Digital Doom — hacker, pirate newscaster, and the voice of Pirate TV. He wears a reaper’s face, never shows his own, and only reports what he can verify: the stories of the people Neo Babylon forgot, chewed up, or would rather keep quiet. If it’s on this site, it passed his standard.

This Guide is built for players, fans, and friends to share their own stories, fan fiction, fan art, missions, and music. If you’ve got something from your table, send it in through Contact & Submissions — the undercity is big enough for everyone’s story.
Stay low. Stay loud.
